Coming Up for Air

It's been altogether too long since I've checked in. I have found myself outrageously busy -- the workout routine has been quite disrupted, but since I'm still watching what I eat, the weight-loss routine is going well. And it wasn't disrupted by any Thanksgiving carnage, either.

Since last I wrote, it seems my beloved Wolverines has lost to the dreaded, *sigh* #1-ranked Ohio State Hazelnuts. And since USC has shown their overwhelming football prowess by (1) losing to unranked Oregon State, and (2) shrewdly having their season go longer than Michigan's, they have somehow convinced everyone that they should be ranked high than a team whose only loss is to the #1 team in the country. Yeah, right. Makes sense to me.

Anyway, it seems strange that it's December already. Especially since several days last week featured temperatures in the low- mid-60s. That's right -- 60s. In Michigan. Of course, now it's 32 and cold and miserable, so that pretty much fits.
