As I mentioned in a previous post, I had the pleasure last week to meet Dean Esmay last week at a gathering arranged by my old friend Ben Kepple. Dean, as many of you know, blogs on the most excellent Dean's World. Dean also mentioned our gathering, and I received emails soon after from a couple of people I've known for years under vastly different circumstances that said "You know Dean, too?" I had a friend in high school who seemed to separately know about half of the people in my life, too, so I'm sure I'll find I'm connected to Dean in other surprising ways ("How the hell do YOU know Dean, gramma?!").
